<lj:music>In Flames - The Hive</lj:music>

So new years eve eh? Eh indeed. Not that interesting but not bad.

Last night I hung out with Myke, Alex, Mali, and Christi. We had to kill time to wait for the 10:45 showing of Big Fish, but it was quite fun. And Big Fish was an excellent movie. Alex and I are going to start some sort of musical project and he has decided that i have to go to UCLA so we can start a legitimate band.

After we all seperated and it was just Myke and I, we did what we always did before going home. We avoided it and drove around talking about random things and ended up at Yum Yum where the guy kept trying to make us buy two dozen doughnuts. Agoura needs more places to hang out at after midnight. And I need to start going to sleep earlier before school starts again.

But school is over for a couple of weeks, so need to think about that.

In the next two weeks I get to mess around and not have any stupid shit to worry about. Yay for fallen idle music video editing, thrice cover band, midi hardcore, and 4-track funcore. And maybe I'll see avenged sevenfold january 4th at ventura.

3 car accidents. Last night, within a relative short time before we were to play our show, were 3 serepate car accidents involving people we know. Our friend Nheeba, our singer Mike, and the drummer from a different band playing that night all got into accidents. Things do happen in 3's. Luckily from what I've heard everyone is okay.

Otherwise, the show was fun. Sara came =). Ed gein, started out as a grave robber, robbing graves for the remains of women around the age of 50 and using the bits and pieces that he found to furnish his house. Eventually moving up to living subjects Ed would go on to kill 3 local women whom he would decapitate, skin and leave on meat hooks in his basement.

He later went on to confess that he would fashion masks and vests out of the skin of the women he had killed, even going as far as cooking and eating their hearts. Ed believed that he had to do these killings because his dead mother told him to.

Silence of the lambs, Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are just some of the many movies that have been inspired by the life of Ed Gein.

Kill Count: 3
Find what serial killer you would be, Take the Serial Killer Quiz now!

Tomorrow is Halloween. That means Thrice & Thursday at the Palladium :-)! Hell yes.

But anyways, we had show planned for Saturday at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. Everything was going through as normal until a couple days ago when our singer went to the hospital because of a swollen throat and a 102 fever. So we cancel and find a replacement band. Seems okay, right? Well now because we pulled out we are banned from playing there. BANNED. Lame motherfucking bullshit.

Whatever, I'm fine here eating sunflower seeds and making midi hardcore.

I missed school today. A black foreign object floating in the air from the fires got lodged under my eye-lid yesterday and it hurt like a bitch. In order to remove it the doctor had to flip my eyelid, which was weird yet awesome in its own right. Afterwards I got a cocoa-nut popsicle =).

Earlier this weekend Myke and I drove into moorpark at 2 in the morning to look at the fire. We drove through the smoke and ash filled night and barely found anyone on the road. A few parked cars had their trunks open and we're getting filled with valuables by thier owners. It was definitely a little weird.

Have you ever talked to someone online who doesn't seem to realize that an instant message isn't very good at portraying subtle sarcasm?

When someone says that they're gonna do something that would effect me, like cause me to fail a huge lab, end a friendship, or fuck with/end my band, I take it seriously. Shouldn't I? So when I get pissed cause they where "just messing with me" for the past ten minutes, I think my reaction is justified. And if they get upset cause I'm not being calm, I think they should fuck themselves. Am I insane, or does this make some sense?

I dunno, I plan on being upset if something I care about might get fucked. Thats just me.

Nowhere near the "true story" its based on, just like the remake, but fucking cool none-the-less. It reminds me of why living near spoiled, emotionally-empty kids is much better than living with people who like to massacre people with a chainsaw...in Texas.

So last night was our show at the theater on high street. Was fun, kind weird playing a place with seats though. But we got to play right before Underwood, who I <3. They fucking rock and are awesome guys.

Now here is the part that doesn't make ANY sense. After the show I went with to Bj's with a whole buncha underwood people and some other friends, notably Damen the singer of August. Now as I was pulling up I saw Damen and such, so i slowed down. Damen put his bare ass on my hood/windshield...All of a sudden I hear a discomforting CRACK. Damen's ass cracked my windshield. It doesn't make any sense. Luckily he got no ass glass and the window didn't shatter into me. It looks like the window was shot at while I was making a delivery for my columbian drug cartel or some shit. Fucking weird. I'll post a pic soon.

Quick point: My band has a show this friday at the theater on high street with Underwood and Harmony. Go to
the band site . for info!

Aaaanyways...Today some intersting things happened in school: Turn in my first DCE essay, sat through boring Stanely...oh yeah, and I got STABBED. Haha, not stabbed as in someone attacked me, but my friend accidently stabbed my hand with his pencil. It went in sideways between layers of skin. SO MUCH FUN. =/

But on a happier, much nerdier note, I put up an awesome little message board for my band. Go check it out, say hi, maybe join up, itll be fun.
Message Board Link.

So I saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie for free with Myke tonight. It was freaking awesome. Of course the black guy dies. Actually now that I think about it there where only white people in the movie. Silly texans. It was really good at being scary and disturbing.

Later we met some people at In-N-Out and made fun of the abundance of emo kids. Then Myke and I peed on the scary wall at burger king while waiting for eugene to show up. then we drove around bored and came home. now im typing this....so yea, good night.
